St. Francis Optimum Health Network
Optimum Health Network (OHN) is the Physician Hospital Organization (PHO) started
by St. Francis Health System in 1993. The PHO is made up of approximately 550
physicians and all St. Francis facilities. Designed to be a managed care contracting vehicle for the PHO, Optimum Health
Network has the capability tocompletedirect employer contracting, as well as
contract with managed care entities (insurance carriers, TPAs, workers compensation
networks or carriers, and PPO network companies). Presently, OHN has 9 network
contracts in effect.
OHN can deliver a complete physician network, full-service hospital provider, as well as ancillary services (home health, hospicefree-standingsurgery centers through its PHO contract). Currently, an estimated 25,000 covered lives have access through the PHO agreements.
OHN staff provide network management services to its contract partners that includes network management, contracting, provider credentialing, as well as support servicesfornetwork claims or provider relations service issues.
